There are many online resources available through the Morristown-Hamblen Library.

  • Overdrive offers eBook, audiobooks and videos for download. Use it online or in an app for your device. There are special collections for kids and teens.
  • Tennessee Electronic Library is an incredible resource available to all Tennessee residents. TEL includes”over 400,000 electronic resources, including magazines, podcasts, videos, eBooks, test prep materials, federal census records and more.”
  • TumbleBooks are interactive stories for children. They’ll help your young one learn to read by highlighting the words and sounding them out.

Learn something new with help from the library!

The Morristown-Hamblen Library offers many exclusive online and offline resources for its patrons.

Learning Express Library offers online skill-building courses, activities, and practice tests. Learning Express provides over 1,000 online tutorials, practice tests and eBooks to help patrons of all ages!

Free Zumba and other workout classes are taught in the Community Room on Thursday evenings. All you need is a towel and a bottle of water to join! Call (423) 586-6410 for more information.

Check the calendar for other upcoming community events in the Community Room! As of this writing, upcoming events include storytimes, Church meetings, family movies, family game nights, and Medicare introduction courses.

Teens have a special space in the library.

The Morrison-Hamblen Library Teen Room is for people between the ages of 12 and 19. All the materials in this space were selected with those ages in mind.

The library is fun for kids, too!

In 2003, the library opened a Children’s Library with materials designed for children ages 13 and under. The Children’s Library includes a study room for homework. Computers are also available.

Events at the The Children’s Library include Story Time, reading with a Therapy Dog, movie nights, game nights and more. Don’t miss out on the summer reading program that rewards kids and teens for reading throughout the summer!

Tel4u is an online resource provided by the Tennessee Electronic Library. Although it’s accessible from anywhere, a Tennessee library card is required to use some features.  You’ll find links to eBooks, homework hlepers, games, activities and Tennessee State History.
