How to Sell Stuff

Need cash right away? The easiest way to get cash in your hand today is to sell your unwanted belongings or to “flip” cheap items that you may find in thrift stores or clearance sections. In this guide, I’ll tell you how I earned tens of thousands of dollars this way before Low Income Relief became profitable.

I built my first business around selling things online. My father sold used cars, and as a child I watched him buy all sorts of things and sell them for a profit. One of my most memorable moments was when he stopped to purchase a used camper on the way to the beach. He negotiated a very low price and we had an incredible weekend at the beach. As soon as we returned home, he sold it for a tremendous profit. I was so impressed that we were able to make a great memory and make money at the same time.

I suppose some of those skills rubbed off, because I immediately turned to sales when my husband became too disabled to work. I was always looking for great deals, purchasing things for ridiculously low prices and then flipping them online for a profit. I sold all sorts of things – furniture, electronics, clothing and more!

In this guide, I’ll show you all the secrets, tips and tricks that I used to make money selling items online.

Thank you for this post on how to sell items. I really want to sell some personal belongings for cash like what Nicole has done, but need to know how this income is counted or not counted towards SNAP and taxes. Obviously there's no paper trail with craig list or yard sales, but SNAP asks how you pay for rent...what if you say you sold personal belongings? Thank you!
