Suddenlink serves customers in Arizona, Arkansas, California, Louisiana, Missouri, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Texas and West Virginia.

Who qualifies for Altice Advantage Internet?

This service serves low income seniors and families. The service is the same but the qualifying criteria obviously varies.

In order to be eligible, families must have at least one child enrolled that is eligible for the National School Lunch Program. Families may also qualify if they have at least one child enrolled in a New York City public school.

Of course, there is a different criteria for seniors. Seniors must be at least 68 years old and eligible to receive Social Security Income. It is important to realize that this says “eligible for” and not “receives.” You do not have to actually receive SSI in order to qualify. You merely need to be eligible to do so.

Some previous customers may be disqualified from this discount.

Unfortunately, you may not be eligible for this discount if you are a current or recent Optimum Internet or Suddenlink Internet customer. In order to be eligible, you must not have subscribed to any of these services within the last 60 days. You also do not qualify if you have an outstanding debt to any of the participating providers.

How do you sign up for Altice Internet Advantage?

It’s easy! You can apply online on the Altice Advantage Internet website. Here’s a direct link to their application page.

I was approved for the Altice program though the school lunch program. My service was connected including free equipment. I was told my bill would be $14.99. That was a lie! After calling several times being told something different each call. Asked to speak to a supervisor, but was told I couldn’t and that my bill was higher because they had a price increase. $40. My daughters school assigns homework on google classroom. Don’t understand why companies falsely advertise! They should be fined and made to honor the advertisement!

I’m disabled and couldn’t afford my SUDDENLINK home internet. My boy friend recently moved in from another region of Texas. He tried to get the ALTICE advantage internet. He was DENIED! I told the CSR this would be a brand new account in his name but, it didn’t matter, he is in the same HOUSEHOLD, which makes him ineligible! I can’t catch a break, aargh!

Hey Nicole! Thanks for the information you've provided. Cuts down on me having to do the research especially when I wasn't even sure what I needed to look for. AT&T Access was the service I would have liked to have used but unfortunately it isn't available in my area. This provided more options and thankfully Altice does provide in our area. Now to make sure that my kiddos do their homework, and no just play on Roblox! LOL
