Wondering how to save money on Altice, Suddenlink internet or Optimum internet plans? We’ve found a way to get their service for just $14.99 per month through Altice Advantage Internet!
What is Altice Advantage Internet?
Altice Advantage Internet is designed for low income customers. It offers download speeds of up to 30 Mbps for just $14.99 per month! There are no data caps. The plan includes a free smart router and modem, as well as discounted standard installation fees. You’ll also get three included email addresses.
If you live in an Optimum service area, you will also have access to all of the Optimum Wi-Fi Hotspots. Your registered Wi-Fi devices will seamlessly connect to these hotspots without requiring a username or password.
Altice has bought Optimum and a majority of Suddenlink. The Advantage program is a simple way for the company to orchestrate its discounted economy plans across all of its affiliated providers. Basically, if you’re looking to save money on Optimum or Suddenlink, then you’re looking for this discounted internet plan.
Optimum predominantly services the areas of New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Pennsylvania.
Suddenlink serves customers in Arizona, Arkansas, California, Louisiana, Missouri, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Texas and West Virginia.
Who qualifies for Altice Advantage Internet?
This service serves low income seniors and families. The service is the same but the qualifying criteria obviously varies.
In order to be eligible, families must have at least one child enrolled that is eligible for the National School Lunch Program. Families may also qualify if they have at least one child enrolled in a New York City public school.
Of course, there is a different criteria for seniors. Seniors must be at least 68 years old and eligible to receive Social Security Income. It is important to realize that this says “eligible for” and not “receives.” You do not have to actually receive SSI in order to qualify. You merely need to be eligible to do so.
Some previous customers may be disqualified from this discount.
Unfortunately, you may not be eligible for this discount if you are a current or recent Optimum Internet or Suddenlink Internet customer. In order to be eligible, you must not have subscribed to any of these services within the last 60 days. You also do not qualify if you have an outstanding debt to any of the participating providers.
How do you sign up for Altice Internet Advantage?
It’s easy! You can apply online on the Altice Advantage Internet website. Here’s a direct link to their application page.
You will receive a letter regarding your eligibility within a week, which may ask you to return documentation proving that you are eligible.
