If you’re facing a financial crisis, please call 211 immediately for help. They can connect you with resources for food, shelter, and other critical needs.

Other places you can turn for referrals to urgent financial relief include:

  • Community Action Council: Every county in America has a designated Community Action Council that can help you connect with resources and programs that can help you. Find yours using the Community Action Partnership locator tool.
  • Eldercare Locator: Seniors can call the Eldercare Locator at (800) 677-1116 for help finding resources.
  • United Way Resource Directory: Anyone in the United States can call 211 or visit 211.org to be connected to their local resource directory.

You can also try reaching out to your local food bank or Salvation Army for assistance.
