Your East Smithfield Public Library runs a steady stream of events, with some days hosting multiple groups. During any given month the library will only have a handful of days with no events whatsoever. Refer to the Event Calendar to keep up with all of the events at the library.
There is an excellent selection of children’s storytimes each week at the East Smithfield Public Library. Toddler Storytime is every Monday and Wednesday at 10:30 A.M. For younger children, Tiny Tots Storytime is every Tuesday and Friday morning at 10:30 A.M. For slightly older children, Preschool Storytime is every Thursday at 1:00 P.M.
Does your child need homework help? The library offers homework tutoring in all subjects every Monday and Tuesday at 3:00 P.M.
There are plenty of activities for adults looking for a good time too. The Lego Club gives adults and kids the opportunity to create and build. The Lego Club meets on the last Saturday of the month at 11:00 P.M. The Knitting and Crocheting Club has meetings on the Second Thursday of each month at 6:30 P.M. You are welcome to bring your own projects or just learn from other hobbyists. The East Smithfield Public Library also offers a Card Game Club. The club focuses on different card games each week and is scheduled for Mondays at 5:30 P.M.
