Operation Elf Operation Elf offers Christmas help to residents living in LaSalle County in the Mendota School District. Residents must have a Medicaid card and children who attend or are eligible to attend any of Mendota’s Schools in the future. They offer residents free toys, bags of groceries, and Christmas decorations provided by donations from the community.
Salvation Army The Salvation Army holds a special holiday program every year called the Angel Tree. They connect children in need with generous donors who want to fulfill a child’s Christmas wish.
