Angel Tree Program – Modesto Citadel Corps helps families who are low income. The toys are available for children from 0-12 years old and each child will receive a toy. The Christmas Basket Giveaway is an event for families who live in parts of Stanislaus County. Residents are required to live in Modesto, Ceres, Empire and Salida with proof of residency. The Annual Community Christmas Dinner is sponsored by the Turlock Salvation Army Corps Community Center. It is an even that is held on a day before Christmas Day. It is open to everyone with no documentation required to come to the event. Those who want to come to the meal can get more information from (209) 669-5366 or visit the Turlock website.

The Christmas Meal is sponsored by the United Samaritans Foundation and happens on December 22, 2017. The program operates on a mobile basis throughout Ceres, Turlock, Modesto and Keyes and times range from 12:25 PM to 3:05 PM. To find out when the truck will be in your area, call (209) 668-4853.

Christmas Dinner and Gift Giveaway by the Turlock Gospel Mission is an event that is open to everyone. The event is Spanish and English friendly. New Life Christian Center Food Pantry offers a food pantry for those in need. The organization has some Christmas meal items available for those who need it during the holiday season. Those who are interested can call (209) 667-5433 for eligibility requirements.

Emergency Food box Program at Turlock is a program offered by the United Samaritans. People who are in immediate need of food for the holiday can contact (209) 668-4853 for a three-day supply of food.
