Holiday Magic Tree Lighting Event takes place during the holiday season. This event’s free and all community members can attend. This event has a tree lighting event, parade, free food, and cool activities, like kiddie train rides on Railroad Avenue. For the kids, Mr. and Mrs. Claus will pose for pictures.
North Mason Giving Tree provides Christmas assistance to families who live in the North Mason County area (from Grapeview to Tahuya). Families in need can write out their Wishlist and hang them on the Christmas Giving Tree.

Salvation Army brings the Angel Tree program to low-income residents of Mason County every Christmas. They do this by connecting needy families with sponsors who buy items off the family’s most wanted list. Hood Canal Food Bank opens their food pantry to families in need throughout Mason County and surrounding areas. It is open the first and third Monday of every one, even during the holidays Families might be able to get free help with holiday food items. Saint’s Pantry offers once-per-month food pantries for people in Mason County. You might also be able to get food that’s holiday-centric during the holiday months! The pantry is open on Tuesday and Wednesday from 9:30 am to 11:45 am.
