A Kids Place offers children living in their care and families receiving services from their organization free food and toys every holiday season. Applicants must receive services from the organization, have a valid photo ID with current address, and proof of guardianship for each child in the home aged 18 years old or younger.

CEC Volunteers and Partners holds an annual toy giveaway on December 23rd from 11:00am to 2:00pm for low-income families and their children. Families enjoy fun activities, free food, and toys for the kids.

HOPE Outreach Center offers the Adopt-A-Family for low-income families living in the Southern areas of Florida. They give families holiday dinner boxes filled with all the ingredients to make an Easter, Thanksgiving, or Christmas meal. Additionally, they connect families with donors who provide them with toys, clothing, and more during Christmas.

Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office invites low-income families to register for their Sharing Project during the holiday season. Over 100 uniformed officers shop for registered families, providing them with toys, bicycles, and basic necessities to make their holiday a little brighter.

Salvation Army holds their annual Angel Tree program for low-income families living in Pinellas County. Families must register with the program and provide a wish-list for all children aged newborn to 14 years old. Items get purchased by donors and delivered to families just before Christmas.

Suncoast Haven Of Rest offers many services to low-income families living in Pinellas County. Giving away holiday dinner boxes filled with all the ingredients for a holiday meal, vouchers to pay for rent, water, and power, and help paying for toys during Christmas, reading glasses, and prescriptions.

Tampa’s Mangrove Software hosts their annual Community Christmas party. The party’s free to attend and families will enjoy a light show, pictures with Santa, toys for children aged 2 through 11, face painting, hand drawn caricatures, and more.

The Christmas Toy Shop Project Inc invites children of low-income families to take part in their annual Toy Giveaway. This giveaway provides less fortunate children with new and refurbished toys for Christmas.

Toy Makers provides over 20,000 toys to sick and needy children each year living in Pasco, Hernando, Pinellas, and Hillsborough counties. These toys are simple, hand-made wooden toys for children of all ages. To receive toys, parent must request toys for their children through their website and have proof of guardianship.

Toys For Tots invites all children from less fortunate families to register for their program. They provide toys for children aged newborn to 14 years old, through the donations of community members and organizations. Families must register each child with the program using the request toys link on their website. Additionally, families must show proof of income to determine eligibility, have a birth certificate for all qualifying children, have a social security card for all adult household members, and have a valid photo ID with current address. YMCA Neighbor to Neighbor offers live Christmas trees, ornaments, holiday dinners, bikes, toys, and books to over 700 children and 300 underserved families. Families can schedule a tree delivery day for free boxes meals, trees, and ornaments and attend their toy box night to collect free toys and a $150 Publix card.

Aldersgate United Methodist Church hosts the Interfaith Food Pantry, open Monday through Friday from 10:00am to 1:00pm. Families receive several bags of groceries containing perishable and non-perishable food items once per week and holiday dinner boxes on Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

Metropolitan Ministries offers low-income families and families hot meals daily and free food boxes that feed families for 3 days. Each food box’s filled according to the families household size and specific needs, ensuring they have enough food to feed everyone. Holiday dinner boxes also available on Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas in their holiday tent.
