Florida Today in Melbourne offers their Reaching Out Holiday Fund for low-income families during the holidays. Registered families receive new toys and books purchased by the organization with money donated by community members. As of this writing, they only accept families who have children aged newborn to 15 years old.

Gifts From The Heart Christmas in Melbourne opens a Christmas Shop every December, filled with toys and small gifts donated by community members and organizations. Families registered with the program get to choose three new toys for each of their children. At this time, they can only serve 400 children per year and only offer their services to families with children aged 2 years old to 17 years old.

Operation Hope of Greater Florida Inc. in Fellsmere offers over 1,200 low-income children with toys during the holiday season, provided by donations from community members and organizations. Additionally, they serve over 800 Thanksgiving baskets to families which allows them to cook a traditional holiday meal at home.

Salvation Army in Palm Bay invites low-income families to apply for their Angel Tree program during the holiday season. Through this program, families receive food, clothing, toys, and other gifts from community members and organizations who choose to adopt them. Additionally, they offer both hot holiday meals served in their soup kitchen and holiday dinner boxes packed with everything a family needs for a traditional holiday dinner. Toys For Kids Brevard in Palm Bay collects toys for over 100,000 children of low-income families in Brevard County from November 23rd through December 8th. Afterwards, registered families visit Ad on Shriners Center in Melbourne to pick up their gifts on December 15th. As of this writing, the organization only signs up a certain amount of families everyday and they only serve families with children aged newborn to 10 years old.

Toys For Tots in Barefoot Bay hosts their annual toy drive each year to bring a little holiday cheer to children of low-income families in Brevard County. These children receive new, unopened toys one week before Christmas and some children will receive new bikes and helmets. Families must register each of their children with the program by using the request toys link on their website. Good Shepard Lutheran Church in Titusville offers a food pantry for desperate situations. Their food may be based on holiday meal preferences during the holidays.

My girlfriend and I are both in need of winter clothing and shoes. We are both disabled she has mental handicap and I'm homebound and paralyzed. And can't afford to buy anything after bills are paid nothing left. Any housing help. I'm ex felon so it's hard to find someone that will rent to us and we are having to live in very poor conditions mold and roach infested place that I can't even turn my wheelchair around in hardly.
