If you’re a Verizon customer or you have a government cell phone, you can get free school supplies at Verizon in Punxsutawney! The store is giving away backpacks stuffed with school supplies to families who need them.
The Better Living Center offers free backpacks. The organization may also have further resources on where to get school supplies for those backpacks.
The Tabor United Methodist Church offers a backpack ministry program. There, you can get a backpack and “shop” from their school supply selection. The availability is based on donations so be sure to visit early!
