Save 50% on Amazon Prime w/ EBT or Medicaid!

If you’ve got EBT or Medicaid benefits, you can get a HUGE discount on Amazon Prime! It’s just $6.99 instead of the current price of $14.99! That’s less than half price. This is an amazing deal for anyone who receives food stamps or Medicaid benefits! Sign up here.

Please note that the EBT card cannot be used to pay for the membership; it is only used to prove your eligibility for this discount.

How do you get the Amazon EBT discount?

There is a simple three-step process for getting this deal:

Step One: Confirm your eligibility.

Confirming that you are eligible is simple. Just upload a picture of your EBT or Medicaid card!

Step Two: Sign up for Amazon Prime

You can apply this discount even if you’re a current subscriber. However, new subscribers will also get a free 30 day trial!

Step Three: Start using your benefits.

You’re good to go! You can enjoy free two-day shipping and streaming benefits immediately.

What if you already have Amazon Prime?

Even if you already have Amazon Prime, you can use this link to submit a photo of your EBT or Medicaid card. Once you do, the discount will be applied to your current membership rate. Some of our readers have even reported getting reimbursed for some of the months that they were eligible but didn’t know about the discount!

What does the Amazon EBT discount include?

There are so many perks to having an Amazon Prime membership. I love it! Here are some of my favorites:

FREE Shipping

When you have Amazon Prime, you can get free two-day shipping on over a million items that you purchase from Amazon. If you live in a participating area, you can even get free two-hour delivery with Prime Now!

FREE Streaming

This is actually my favorite benefit: free movie and TV show streaming! There are a lot of titles on Amazon Prime Instant Video that are available for streaming for free. This includes major releases and Amazon Originals!

The easiest way to watch these programs is to use an Amazon Fire TV Stick. These devices do require an initial investment (starting at $39.99), but it’s a one-time cost that empowers you to watch hundreds of thousands of shows at your convenience. You can buy an Amazon Fire TV Stick here.

In addition to Prime Video, you can also stream movies and TV shows from Hulu, Showtime, NBC, Sling TV, ESPN, HBO Now and other subscription services. You can even use it to watch YouTube! Altogether, there are over a half-million programs available to watch!

FREE Music Streaming

In addition to free Prime Video, you can also get free on-demand, ad-free music streaming with over two million songs!

Is everything the same when you get Amazon Prime with an EBT discount?

Almost all of the perks are the same when you use the EBT discount. There’s only one difference: you will NOT be able to use the household sharing feature that is included with standard Amazon Prime memberships.

Amazon Households lets you share Amazon benefits with another adult and up to four children in your household who have their own Amazon accounts. This way, they use their own accounts to access the Prime benefits so your watch lists and other features aren’t combined.

To clarify, you can still use your Prime benefits on any device you want. You just have to use your password and email on each device.

How long does the Amazon EBT discount last?

You will have to confirm your eligibility every 12 months to continue to receive this low price. You can participate in this program for up to 4 years (48 months).

I’ve had an Amazon Prime membership for years and I highly recommend it. In addition to saving money on purchases, our family relies on the free movies and TV programs instead of paying for costly TV services.
