Get discounts to amazing local attractions with your Langworthy Library card!
The library offers passes that are good for discounts to three of Rhode Island’s best attractions. You can reserve a pass up to one week in advance. However, you can only check out one pass at a time. You can only borrow a pass if you have less than $5 in fines. The passes are for general admission only; some special events are not included. Passes must be returned to the front desk and you will be charged $5 per day the pass is overdue. You can reserve the pass at the front desk or by calling the library. Your Langworthy Library card offers passes to the Blithewold Mansion, Gardens and Arboretum, the Mystic Aquarium, and the Rogers Williams Park Zoo.
The Blithewold Mansion, Gardens and Arboretum is a historic estate on Narragansett Bay. The estate includes a 45-room mansion, amazing gardens, and family heirlooms. You can get a pass worth up to six discounted tickets with your library card. Adult tickets are $6 while youth tickets are only $1.
The Mystic Aquarium is one of Rhode Island’s best-known aquariums. It hosts the largest outdoor beluga whale exhibit in the United States. Your library card grants you access to a pass worth $6 off two adult tickets and $4 off two youth tickets.
The Roger Williams Park Zoo is an expansive zoo with many large green spaces. The Zoo has exhibits including giant anteaters and red pandas. With your card you can get $3 off tickets to the Zoo.

Most days, the Langworthy Library offers fun events or club meetings. These events offer something for people of all ages. The best way to keep up with special events is by checking the events calendar regularly. The library also offers several regularly scheduled events each month.
Knit with new friends at the library knitting circle! The knitting circle meets each Wednesday at 6 p.m. You can bring your own project or pick up something new at the meeting. No registration is necessary.
Read a new book with the Langworthy Book Club! The club meets on the first Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. Check with the library in the weeks leading up to a meeting to get a copy of the selected reading.
Get centered during Meditation with Jane! Every Tuesday at 6:30 p.m., a meditation expert will lead a class designed to manage stress and explore your spiritual side.
