Learn to play the guitar! Every Monday night at 6 P.M. the library hosts the Beyond Beginner Guitar Class. The class is free to library members and covers learning the basics of the guitar. This includes everything from picking, strumming, tuning, and playing basic chords. Guitars are not provided so you’ll need to bring your own to participate.
Enjoy storytime with your children! The Saunderstown RI Library offers a 45-minute storytime class every Monday at 3:45 P.M. The class includes stories as well as crafts. No registration is necessary to attend.
Socialize with coffee and treats at Kaffeeklatsch! This monthly social group meets at 10 A.M. on the first Friday of every month. Each meeting offers a chance to get to know other library members while enjoying coffee, tea, and treats.
Let your child explore the World with Kids’ Postcard Club. The Postcard Club meets on the first Thursday of each month at 4 P.M. and is open to all school-aged children. The club includes an hour of creative writing, as well as sending and receiving postcards to other clubs around the world.
Learn Italian with an experienced teacher! Conversational Italian with Dora is taught by a former Italian teacher with 35 years of experience. The class meets at 4 P.M. every Friday. It covers immersive learning of the language and is friendly for beginners. Each class focuses on a theme including asking for directions, greetings, hotel information, and common phrases.
