Considering the ACLU? Check this out!

The ACLU takes complaints and requests for assistance, but they might not be able to help everyone. In fact, they only take a small percentage of the cases they hear for assistance. If you have a case the ACLU might be interested in, you can reach out for them. They want people to know, though, they don’t help many. Instead, they encourage people to pursue other avenues for Utah legal services. The ACLU might be willing to help in extreme cases where civil rights were infringed on or things that could be major disruptions to constitutional rights.

Instead of giving people no options to help themselves, they have a Utah legal services listing. This listing can connect you with the direct phone numbers for most legal aid throughout the state. The information can be helpful if you’re low-income and in need of attorney representation, but can’t afford it.
