      1. You should have reduced pet care throughout Michigan instead of just certain areas. Also I don’t feel like your animal should be spayed or neutered just to be able to receive serves. An then I saw that if they weren’t spayed or neutered there is information on how to go about getting it done. If you don’t want to get them fixed you shouldn’t make them just kto receive your services. Cause then that has to be paid for as well. If I’m asking for assistance with your services how the heck am I supposed to have the money to get my animal spayed or neutered!? Does that make since to you!? It makes no since to me, oh wait other than the fact of your services is gonna make more money that way! That is it, I need services, but not services that make you have your animal spayed or neutered just to get help… An well it don’t matter cause you dom’t have anything in my direct area. Thanks have a nice day!

        1. Hey Jessica, I appreciate your feedback! Low Income Relief is an information service. We research the programs that are available and report on them so that they are easier to find, but we do not have any direct control over what these organizations require or offer. I’m sorry that these programs weren’t available or applicable to you.

      2. I live in northern Michigan and there’s only one vet within 50 miles of me and they are so expensive, people here mostly put their own pets down if they get sick because they can’t afford thousands for a vet, my husky has ear problem and ingrown nail it would be a couple hundred just to see the vet and I really need help..

      3. @Kim, I agree. I’m in northern Michigan and cannot find help. The vet clinics here are so expensive because there’s no competition, so if your not wealthy your pets pay the price.

      5. I’ve tried to get help with an abandoned senior Lab… no one will accept her, something’s wrong with her & everywhere I’ve called won’t help or take her. What am I supposed to do to help her with a $640 SSI Check? I’ve been in a power wheelchair for decades, broke my back a few months ago, l’m non-surgical & care for my stroked wheelchair bound hubby!

      6. Are there any reduced or free vet services for my senior dog? In W. Michigan/Kent County? I’m on Social security disability & on a strict low income now and trying to find a veterinarian is hard.
