    • September 11 is a national day of rememberance for the 9/11 attacks. Many military museums and memorials offer free or discounted admission in observance of the day. For example, the National Museum of Military Vehicles in Wyoming will offer free admission on September 11. Other museums and historic sites may also participate, so be sure to call your local museums to ask about special 9/11 deals or commemorative events.

For those in Florida, there’s a special back-to-school treat at the Brevard Zoo, where all Florida children aged 11 and under can get free admission throughout September. Each child must be accompanied by a paying adult, but one adult can bring up to three children—potentially saving you up to $75. You’ll need proof of Florida residency, such as a utility bill or ID with a matching address.

    Guaranteed Income Programs

We’re excited to see new guaranteed income programs cropping up again. These don’t happen often, so if you qualify, it’s worth looking into.

In San Diego County, a new program called Born Well is offering $750 per month for up to a year to 25 expectant mothers in their first or second trimester. To be eligible, you must already be working with the Perinatal Equity Initiative. There’s no open application for this—participants are referred through the program. This initiative is designed to reduce racial disparities in maternal and infant health and is sponsored by the San Diego Foundation and local government.

Meanwhile, the city of Newburgh, New York, is planning a new guaranteed income program set to launch in spring 2026. It will provide $300 per month to 110 households. Details are still being finalized, but the city has indicated they’ll likely partner with a local nonprofit and select participants from an existing pool of qualified applicants. If you live in Newburgh, it’s a good time to get connected with local organizations now.

      1. Hi I would love if someone would go into more detail on the online games. I see all the this ” prizes awards and etc but afraid of giving out my info. How do I know if legitimate before I give me PayPal, zenmo Amazon and other info.

        1. Thanks for asking! We partner with Freecash because they’ve proven to be a legit way to earn rewards—but it’s always wise to be careful online. Never pay to claim a prize, and only share info you’re comfortable with.
