    Salvation Army

    The Salvation Army in Arkansas helps families at Christmas. They have an “Angel Tree” program that gives gifts and clothes to kids in need. Families can sign up, and people in the community can pick up a donation card to shop for your family.

    They also offer free Christmas meals for families, seniors, and anyone in need. The Salvation Army’s goal is to make the holidays happy for everyone, no matter their budget.

    Toys for Tots

    Toys for Tots helps spread joy in Arkansas by giving toys to children who might not otherwise get presents. Families can sign up to receive gifts, and community members can donate new, unwrapped toys.

    Benton County

    Sharing and Caring of Benton County is located in Bentonville. This organization provides a Christmas program that offers gifts, food, clothing, essential household goods, shoes and more! Every child who receives help from this program is shopped for individually. They served over 3,000 children in 2022!

    First Christian Church in Rogers may be able to help you get food for your holiday meal through their God Relies Upon Brotherhood (GRUB) Food Pantry. It is open on Tuesdays unless the weather forces a school closure. You need to bring an ID.

    Helping Hands in Bentonville can assist you with food if you don’t have any. They do not appear to have any holiday-specific programs, though.

    Manna Center in Siloam Springs can help you with food and clothing needs. If you don’t have suitable winter clothing or if you need help with food, reach out!

    Samaritan Community Center provides an annual Christmas community meal in Rogers and Springdale. This meal serves more than 1,000 people!

    Fulton County

    America Food Bank of Northeast Arkansas provides free meals for a number of counties, including Fulton County, Arkansas.

    Mississippi County

    Blytheville-Gosnell Food Pantry in Blytheville provides food, such as frozen meat, cheese, eggs, and nonperishable items. Sometimes, they also have heaters, coats and blankets available. It does not appear they have a specific holiday program but it is still a resource that can help.

    Sebastian County

    Community Services Clearinghouse in Fort Smith provides holiday meals and gifts. The meals are available on Thanksgiving and include a turkey and sides. The gift program provides free Christmas gifts for seniors and children in the area.

    Project Compassion Inc. in Fort Smith provides Christmas help to seniors in Arkansas. They specifically serve nursing home residents in their area with fidget quilts and other gifts.

    Washington County

    St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Fayetteville provides an annual Christmas dinner. Guests may receive gifts from the Angel Basket, which usually includes scarves, hats, gloves, and socks.
