Waynesboro redevelopment might be able to help if you’re a first time home buyer in Virginia. You could get assistance through the redevelopment corporation to help make purchasing a home much easier. They work with people who are low-income and might make purchasing a home possible without a lot of money saved up.

Bristol County

The Bristol Housing Find a Way organization could help you get into a home. Using the Federation of Appalachian Housing, you might be able to get help with your homeownership goals. Chesapeake City County

Danville City County

The Danville Southside Outreach Group could help people in Danville find housing options and financing for those housing options. Fairfax County

If you’re in Falls Church, you might be able to get help through the office of housing. They offer programs to help people with their homeownership goals. Housing Partnerships, Inc. works with people purchasing a home in Williamsburg and might be able to provide you with resources to financing your house! They offer grants, assistance and even counseling programs that might make purchasing a home easier.

Loudon County

The Loudon County Office of Housing might be able to help if you’re purchasing a home in Loudon County. They offer help for people who are buying a home and could even provide you with access to different financing options. The county office does not generally provide grants, but they could direct you to different resources where you might be able to find a grant!

Montgomery County

Piedmont Housing Alliance could help if you’re a first time home buyer in Virginia. While they generally focus on helping people get into affordable housing options, they might also be able to help you find a house if you’re hoping to buy a home. The alliance has contacts in different areas that could help you find a house and find financing for that house.

Norfolk City County

You could get help through Norfolk Redevelopment! There are resources that might make it easier for you to find financing and find the house you’re looking for. This could also make it easier for you to find a home even if you have low income or you don’t have great credit. Since the organization works with people from a variety of financial backgrounds, they might be able to help you find what you’re looking for!

The Portsmouth Redevelopment and Housing Authority could help if you’re in or around Norfolk! They offer resources that might help you find a home. Even if you’re a first time home buyer with low-income and less than perfect credit, you could get help!

Petersburg City County

Petersburg Housing might make it easier for you to purchase a home in the area. They offer resources that could direct you to affordable housing opportunities. They do not give grants, but their resources might help you find a grant for a down payment.

Petersburg Pathways is one of the resources the housing authority uses. Not only can Petersburg Pathways help you figure out your finances and prepare yourself for a home purchase but they can help in other ways. They might be able to provide you with the information to find a home. The organization also has resources that could help you with a down payment and financing!

Prince William County

Are you in Prince William County and a first time home buyer in Virginia? You might be able to get help through the housing department’s community development division. If you plan to purchase a home to fix up or you want to find a home in a neighborhood that isn’t among the most popular in the county, you could get help! There are options available that might make it easier for you to purchase a home and to get assistance financing your first home purchase.

Richmond City County

The Richmond Better Housing Initiative might make it easier for you to find a house and find financing for a house. The coalition works to provide better housing options for people throughout Richmond and they might be able to offer resources that could help you find the best home for your needs. As a coalition, they could also provide you with assistance toward your down payment or closing costs.

The Richmond Southside Community Development organization might also be able to help you if you’re looking for a home in Richmond. They can provide you with housing listings as well as counseling to prepare you for purchasing a home. Depending on funding, they might have grants available that could make putting a down payment on a house easier.

Project: homes might help you find a home no matter what kind of income or credit situation you’re in! They provide help to people by giving them a chance to improve income situations and credit situations. They might also provide counseling and other resources to help you get into a home. Roanoke City County

With the Newport News redevelopment agency, you might be able to get into a home easier than you think. The agency works to ensure Newport News continues thriving and that might mean they can help people when purchasing a home in the area. If you have dreams of a new home in Newport News, they might be closer than you think! The redevelopment agency could help you find a home and secure everything you need to get into a new house!

Wise County

Through the Wise County redevelopment and housing authority, you might be able to get help. They could offer grants and loans that might make it easier for you to purchase a home. Wythe County

Wytheville HOPE, inc. might be able to help if you’re in Appalachia and need assistance with homeownership resources.
