If your income is below 80% of the limit, you might be able to get Iowa home repair grants through Polk County. You can use these in addition to NFC and Metro housing assistance. You might also be able to use the loan if you have crucial systems that need changed in the home. In addition to the loan, Davenport offers the exterior accessibility grant for people who are disabled and need to make their home more accessible.

Story County

Residents of Ames might be able to get help with a community development block grant. This is one of the Iowa home repair grants you can use to make a variety of updates and repairs to your home. Funding might not always be available with this grant and you’ll have to meet the qualifications to get approved for it when funding is available.

Woodbury County
