Second Chance Animal Services

Be on the lookout for Second Chance Animal Services. They subsidize their prices for those who qualify for low-income. Their goal is to help you keep your pet happy and healthy. They operate three different Veterinary Hospitals in North Brookfield, Springfield, and Worcester.

Merwin Clinic

Although they are closed during COVID-19, keep Merwin Clinic on your radar. They provide services on a first-come, first-served basis. Be sure to check their operating hours and arrive well before closing to be considered.

Tufts at Tech Community Veterinary Clinic

Partnered with Worcester Technical High School, Tufts at Tech Community Veterinary Clinic is a great option for low-cost care while helping to educate future vets. They offer many of the same services a traditional Veterinary Clinic would offer, but at a lower cost.

Wellness Waggin’

If you live in Dorchester, Roxbury, or Mattapan consider calling for a Wellness Waggin’. For only $10 they will come to your home and provide a physical exam, vaccinations, flea treatment, and microchip. Keep your pet! Get the care they need.

Southborough Food Pantry

The Southborough Food Pantry is for more than the people in your life. They also provide pet food and kitty litter. Check their site for multiple locations.

Helping Paw

At Helping Paw, pet food is available for pick up but can also be dropped off at your home. This is especially useful if you lack transportation or are homebound. If you know someone who fits that description be sure they know about Helping Paw!

Dakin Humane Society

Many businesses have changed the way they operate and Dakin Humane Society is no exception. They encourage those in need of pet food to show up during the afternoon and call for food to be delivered to your car. The food here is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Pet Partners

Run by volunteers, Pet Partners helps those in the Tri-State area of Berkshires keep their pets in the home. Their goal is to help feed your pet during difficult financial times. Give them a call!

The Pet Pantry delivers pet food to Food Banks throughout the Southern Boston area. If you live in the Brockton / Abington Area check with your local food bank to see if they provide pet food from Pet Pantry.
