Mississippi legal aid might be able to help you if you’re facing foreclosure. While they might not be able to help you with the foreclosure, they could help you have a better understanding of what the terms of the foreclosure mean for you.

The grant could help you with home updates and necessary repairs. It works for both emergency and regular repairs to your home. You will need to meet income and residency requirements to qualify for the CDBG.
Harrison County
If you’re in Biloxi, you might be able to get help with the CDBG program. This could help you get Mississippi home improvement grants to make your home better and safer. You could use the CDBG to pay for repairs to your home and to make improvements to it so it’s more modern and comfortable.
Gulfport also offers the CDBG program for people who qualify! Residents in Gulfport could qualify for up to $20,000 toward home improvement, but not everyone will qualify for the full amount. You may be entitled to more grant money if your home repairs are to get rid of lead-based paint.
Jackson County
Moss Point offers a CDBG that could help you save money on your home repairs. By using this grant, you can make sure that your home is safe, up to code and comfortable to live in.
The Pascagoula CDBG provides residents with home repair options. Even if you can’t afford your repairs, you might be able to get help making your home safer using the grant program!

At the present time, our home is been leased out to a tenant. The home is experiencing much needed renovation repairs and serious plumbing problems.

My house is falling down. Really, the joists or blocks under the middle of my house are falling. My doors won't shut correctly, paneling is pulling away from the wall, floors are unlevel and when I run water in the bath tub I have 2 inches of water at one end and 4 at the other end. We have always taken care of our own home maintenance and improvements, but now we are unable to do so. We are both 72 and health won't let us do it anymore. We have tried to find someone to come help us but no one wants to help old people. We are still paying a mortgage on this house and it is all we have.Can we please get some help?
