Get FREE and discounted passes to local museums and attractions!

Center for Puppetry Arts – Library members can check out a seven-day pass for the Center for Puppetry Arts. This pass gives up to four free admissions and also offers discounts on puppet shows and create-a-puppet workshops.

Go Fish Educational Center – The Go Fish Educational Center offers a fun an interactive look at Georgia’s aquatic wildlife through their series of fresh-water aquariums. Your Cherokee Regional Library card gives you a seven-day pass good for up to four free admissions. The pass can be checked out at the circulation desk.

Atlanta Zoo Your library card is also good for a family library pass to the Atlanta Zoo. The pass covers two adults and two children and can only be checked out once per year. To receive the zoo pass you must first check out the Zoo Atlanta DVD. Once you view and return the DVD you have seven days to claim your pass to the Atlanta Zoo.

Chattanooga Zoo – The Chattanooga Zoo also offers passes to members of the Cherokee Regional Public Library. Passes are good for two adults and up to four children. The pass can be checked out from the circulation desk and is good for seven days. Please Note: the pass is free, but there is a late fee of $3 per day if you don’t return the pass on time. There is a fee of $35 for a lost pass.

Michael C. Carlos Museum – Your library card also grants you free museum passes to the Michael C. Carlos Museum. The pass can be checked out from the circulation desk and is good for seven days. There is the option to renew it for an additional week. The pass is good for free admission for up to six family members.

TumbleBooks is an eBook service designed for children. The service offers over 250 talking, animated eBooks that are designed to show children how fun reading can be. The service also offers non-fiction, read along books, and other child-centric options at no cost!

Learning Express Library is an educational database with over 1,000 entries including practice tests and eBooks on educational and workplace-related subjects.

Mango Languages is a digital service designed to help you learn a new language. Your library card gets you access to Mango Premiere, Mango’s language-learning resource based on learning through watching films.

Your Cherokee Regional Library offers a limited number of Kindle Readers to its card members. To borrow a Kindle, the Library must have a copy of a signed Kindle Borrower Agreement on file.

The Cherokee Regional Public Library offers the Georgia Libraries for Accessible Statewide Services (GLASS) with the goal of providing assistive technology to and library materials to those with disabilities. GLASS is available to anyone that needs assistance reading or turning pages.
