FREE School Supplies in Greensboro, NC

Heads Up for Our Youth hosts a Back to School Rally every year at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex Fieldhouse. The event features basketball clinics, motivational speakers, dance contests and more. Over 100 free haircuts will be given to children ages 6-18. School supplies may also be available. The 2017 event takes place on August 20, 2017, between 2pm and 6pm.

H.Y.P.E. Youth Development provide up to 100 students with supply-ready backpacks and more at their annual Back to School Community Carnival. The event includes food, fun and fellowship. Vendors will be on-site. Raffles will be conducted for free hair cuts and styles. The 2017 event takes place on August 20, 2017, at 1pm at the Peeler Recreation center.

Operation PASS (Partners Advocating Student Success) provides free school supplies and backpacks on a first-come, first-serve basis. This annual program is sponsored by a partnership between many organizations, including Mount Zion Baptist Church, Bryan YMCA, Say Yes, Guilford County Schools and more. The 2017 program takes place on August 19, 2017, at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex. The event begins at 9am and runs to 11:30am.

The Big Give is an annual event hosted by HopeCity. The 2017 event will take place at Ledford High School in Thomasville on August 19, 2017, at 9am. While supplies last, students may receive FREE book bags, FREE school supplies, FREE non-perishable food, FREE hair cuts, FREE health screenings and more!

The Walk hosts an annual Back to School Bash that provides free school supplies and haircuts. The 2017 event occurs on August 19, 2017 at 3pm.

Backpack Beginnings provides free clothing to thousands of children. Their attire meets the SMOD Dress Code demanded by 39 Guilford County Schools. This program also provides backpacks full of food to students in need throughout the school year.
