Brighter Beginning’s Adopt-A-Family program helps low-income families by matching them with donors who buy Christmas gifts such as toys, clothing, and gift certificates. These items get dropped off at the Alameda or Contra Costa county and delivered to the families before Christmas arrives.
Christmas For Everyone offers low-income families in Contra Costa County special holiday assistance during Christmas. They pickup residents and bring them to the host church where everyone in the family receives a new gift, almost new clothing, and a free traditional Christmas meal.
Monument Crisis Center provides holiday food boxes for families in need throughout Contra Costa County. Families must come in person to register as a client to participate. Holiday boxes are provided in both November and December.
Salvation Army offers their services to low-income families throughout Contra Costa County who are in need of help. They offer the Angel Tree program that provides toys for children aged newborn to 12 years old in the form of donations from community members.
