You might be able to get help with your case so you’ll be able to have representation and stop worrying about having to represent yourself. Help through these organizations is usually just available for people who are facing civil cases. If you’re facing a criminal case, you might be able to find the help you need through the state’s public defender office.

You might be able to qualify for the New Mexico legal aid program. This program could help you find the resources you need to be able to get an attorney to represent you. Get specialized help in New Mexico.

Advocacy, INC. could provide some help for uncontested legal guardianship services. If you’re in need of legal assistance for an uncontested guardianship and cannot afford an attorney, you might be able to use the program to get help filling out and filing the papers for the guardianship.

The Catholic Charities Immigration Help Center provides help to people who are immigrants and who qualify. The program is sponsored by the Catholic church, but you do not have to be a member of the church to get help through it. There are some requirements you’ll need to meet to qualify for this help.

The New Mexico Immigrant Law Center might also be able to provide help for people who are immigrants in the state. They offer New Mexico legal aid to immigrants who qualify. To qualify, you’ll need to meet their requirements including the requirement for being low-income in the state.

This program could help you save money by getting a free attorney who can help you with those rights. It might also be possible to have resources that could help if you have a disability case you’re facing.

United South Broadway could provide foreclosure defense to people who are facing a foreclosure. You might be able to get legal representation that could help you keep your home. If you’re unable to get help keeping your home, legal assistance might make be able to lessen the burden of a foreclosure.

New Mexico’s bar association offers New Mexico legal aid through the Young Lawyers association homeless clinic. This program could help those who are homeless find the resources they need to get help with finding a home and getting back on their feet.

The Women’s Law Center can help with issues related to being a female. The center provides legal help for employment situations, help for victims and other specialized help. You might be able to qualify for help through the program if you meet guidelines and, in some cases, meet legal guidelines.

The Senior Citizens Law Office could help seniors get New Mexico legal aid. If you’re a senior and you’re low-income, this program might make it easier for you to save money on your legal representation while also getting help through an attorney.

Use law school clinics for free help!

The University of New Mexico offers a legal clinic for people who are in need of legal help. The student attorneys provide the clinics and help answer legal questions. While at the clinic, you might also be able to get resources that could help you find a pro bono attorney.

You could get help in your county!

Certain counties in New Mexico might be able to offer free legal help to those who are in need. You could get this type of New Mexico legal aid if you’re a resident of the county, you meet income requirements and any other requirements the counties have in place.

Bernalillo County

The Albuquerque pro bono project might be able to help you find an attorney who can represent you for free. These attorneys provide New Mexico legal aid to people who are in need in the city and who meet all the requirements the city has. If you’re able to qualify for the program, you might also be able to find an attorney who can provide you with free representation.

Elderly residents of Albuquerque might be able to get help through legal services for the elderly. This program works with people to make sure they receive the representation they need. They might even if they’re unable to pay for it. You could qualify for this type of assistance if you meet the requirements the organization has in place.

San Juan County

If you’re in San Juan County, you might be able to get New Mexico legal aid through the legal services division. This program provides help for people who are in need of civil rights assistance. They might also be able to help with tribal sovereignty and getting the assistance you need.
