Clemson Community Care serves residents of Pendleton, Central, and Clemson. This organization offers a variety of services including assisting with rent and utility payments.

Residents of Edgemoor, Fort Lawn, and Richburg may be able to receive rent payment assistance from Fort Lawn Community Center.

HOPE in Lancaster

HOPE in Lancaster serves residents of Lancaster County as well as Fort Lawn in Chester County. You may be able to receive help paying rent or utilities during a short-term emergency situation. They also offer financial assistance to those experiencing a set-back due to COVID-19.

Chesterfield County

KARE

Eligible residents of the city of Jefferson may be able to receive financial assistance, including help with rent payments, through KARE. This program is for clients facing a short-term documented crisis.

Clover County

Clover Area Assistance Center

Residents of Clover and York Counties may make an appointment with Clover Area Assistance Center to see if they’re eligible for rent or utility assistance. Financial assistance is dependent upon availability of funds.

Edgefield County

Cancer Support Services

Cancer Support Services offers financial assistance, including help with rent and utility payments, to residents of Aiken and Edgefield Counties currently receiving cancer treatment.

Fairfield County

Christian Assistance Bridge

Residents of Ridgeway, Elgin, Blythewood, and Columbia may be able to receive help paying rent from Christian Assistance Bridge. You must have a notice of eviction in order to be eligible.

Florence County

Lighthouse Ministries

Lighthouse Ministries offers rent payment assistance to residents of Florence County during a financial crisis. You can apply for assistance on their website.

Shelter and Nutrition for All Children (SNAC)

If you have a child in Florence School District One and are facing homelessness, you may be able to receive emergency rent payment assistance from SNAC.

Georgetown County

St. Cyprian Outreach Center

Residents of Georgetown County may be able to receive rent payment assistance from St. Cyprian Outreach Center. Assistance is only for past due bills.

Greenville County

Foothills Family Resources

Foothills Family Resources serves residents of Cleveland, Marietta, Slater, and Travelers Rest during times of financial crisis. They do this by offering immediate resources to help pay for rent, utilities, and other bills. The program also offers long-term assistance in the form of coaching and financial education.

Greer Relief

Eligible residents of Heath Springs and Kershaw may be able to receive financial assistance, including help with rent payments, through KARE. This program is for clients facing a short-term documented crisis.

Lexington County

God’s Helping Hands

This organization serves Cayce and West Columbia, offering assistance such as rent payment relief during times of crisis.You must meet certain criteria in order to be eligible for crisis assistance from God’s Helping Hands.

LexCo CARES

The LexCo CARES program is for residents of Lexington County who are facing financial hardship due to the COVID-19 pandemic. You must meet certain income and eligibility requirements.

Mission Lexington

Mission Lexington offers financial assistance, including rent and utility payment assistance, to residents of Lexington County. You must currently be facing a crisis that has made it difficult to pay your bills and have a stable and consistent income.

Ruth S. Pugh Foundation

Residents of Oconee County may be able to receive financial assistance in the form of rent payments from Oconee United Ministries.

Greer Relief

This organization assists residents of Woodruff School District 4. If you are in a crisis situation, Helping Hands Ministries of Woodruff may be able to assist with rent payments.

Clover Area Assistance Center
