How to Get FREE or Cheap Disneyland Tickets

Cheap Disneyland tickets are essential if you’re trying to visit the Mouse and his friends. If you’ve been hoping for an Anaheim vacation, you’ve probably noticed that the Happiest Place on Earth is also the Most Expensive Place on Earth.

Fortunately, there are many ways that you can score cheap Disneyland tickets that can make your next vacation a bit more affordable.

There are many ways to get cheap Disneyland tickets!

If you’re buying your tickets directly from Disney, then you’re making a serious mistake! Tickets direct from Disney are usually the most expensive.

Watch out for scams!

However, it is critically important to beware of scammers. There are many people who scam others on Craigslist and other sites that are selling fake tickets. Those fake tickets are worthless but can cost you an awful lot!

If you’re searching for cheap Disneyland tickets, then make sure you know how to avoid the most common Disney ticket scams! Here are five strategies that can help you.

Got AAA? Try this.

The American Automobile Association (AAA) is divided into regions and each region may have access to different deals. I’ve heard that you’ll find the best prices on Disneyland tickets at the Anaheim AAA office located at 420 N Euclid Street. Members from other regions may be able to purchase these discounted tickets.

Northern California, Arizona, Nevada and Oregon residents may also be able to get discounted passes from their local AAA offices. However, the deals vary and I’ve heard they aren’t as good as the Anaheim deals are.

Military and veterans can get cheap Disneyland tickets.

Got a Military ID (or a friend with one)? Get Military Salute Tickets!

Military Salute tickets are currently just $185 for a 4-Day Park Hopper pass to Disneyland and California Adventure. These are insanely cheap Disneyland tickets, since the regular price for these passes is $355! That’s barely more than half-price! Get the details on Military Salute tickets here.

Teachers may get cheap Disneyland tickets.

Teachers in the United States and Canada may be able to get discounted Disneyland tickets through their local teacher’s union. You’ll want to be careful, though, because some people have reported that the prices on these tickets can sometimes be higher than ordinarily-priced tickets!

College students may get cheap Disneyland tickets.

Some colleges offer discounted Disneyland tickets through the Student’s Union. The value of these tickets may vary, so it’s important to check all your options to find the best deal.

Some companies offer cheap Disneyland tickets to their employees.

Many employers, even those without a direct Disney relationship, offer discounted Disneyland tickets. Large companies are more likely to participate in something like this than smaller companies.  You can always check with Human Resources to find out if your company has any sort of discounted Disney program.

Credit unions may offer cheap Disneyland tickets to their members.

Although this is becoming increasingly rare, some credit unions may have discounted Disneyland tickets for their members. We’ve always said that credit unions are better for low income families!
