We found legal aid in Texas that might make it easier for you to find an attorney who can work with you on the price or provide you services for free (pro bono). Texas has resources for people who need help with civil cases. If you have a criminal case, you’ll need to get help through the public defender office.

The Texas Legal Services Center might be able to help you with legal aid in Texas. You can get help that might make it easier to deal with civil cases. The Legal Services center not only connects people who qualify with attorneys but they also have legal aid resources. You might be able to get an attorney who can help you with pro bono services or on a sliding scale. You will need to be low-income and meet other requirements to get civil legal help.

Are you looking for legal advice? You might be able to get it through the Texas Law Help site. The site provides answers to common legal questions and could provide you with information on legal aid in Texas. You can connect with an attorney on the site to get basic advice. The site has sections that have answers to common legal questions and also has a specific place where you can connect with lawyers who are waiting to answer a variety of legal questions.

If you are unable to find legal help or you want to go forward with your civil case on your own, you might be able to find the help you need through the Texas Courts Legal Aid program. This program can help you learn more about what you can do if you’re going to represent yourself. This is the place where you might also be able to find forms to help with mutually agreed upon custody cases and divorces.

The Volunteer Legal Services might be able to help you with legal aid in Texas. Using the volunteer services, you could find an attorney who provides their services pro bono to help you get the assistance you need. To qualify for the program, you must meet income guidelines. Your civil case must also fall into their program guidelines. Help might not always be available and there is no guarantee a volunteer attorney will take your case.

You will need to meet their requirements and income limits.

Northwest Texas

Legal Aid of NW Texas might be able to help you if you’re in this region and you need help with your civil legal issues. There are program options that might make it easier for you to find an attorney who can help you with pro bono work. Attorneys work on a volunteer basis in most areas but they might also be able to provide some help to families who have moderate income. For these families, they might be able to provide you with lower cost legal help or even legal help that’s available on a sliding scale.

CitySquare Legal Action Works provides legal services to low-income families in the NW Texas region. If you need legal aid in Texas and you’re in the Northwest area, you might be able to get help through the organization. They have requirements you’ll need to meet for your income and for your civil legal issue.

The Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program could help if you’re in Dallas and in need of assistance. They might also be able to provide some assistance to people who live outside of Dallas and who need help. The program provides legal help through attorneys who have volunteered their time. Not all attorneys are able to take on all cases and help might not always be available.

South Central Texas

South Central Texas has a program that might be able to help you with your pension. The Pension Rights Project might make it easier for you to learn more about your pension, how you can get access to it and what rights you have regarding it. The program works to help people who are low-income get the assistance they need that might make it easier to get legal help with their pension. Attorneys are available to give advice and might be able to represent you in cases concerning your pension.

South Texas

If you’re in South Texas, you might be able to get legal aid through the TX Rio Grande Legal Aid Center. This program connects low-income families with lawyers who provide their services pro bono. The program could help you connect with a free attorney who might be able to help you with questions regarding your case. The program could also help represent you if you have to go through court with your civil case. They provide legal aid in Texas to people who are in the Southern region of the state.

Some counties in Texas offer clinics to low-income families.

There are some counties that provide legal aid in Texas through their volunteer clinics. With these clinics, people can attend and get a chance to talk to a lawyer for free. The programs are usually intended for low-income individuals and families, but some moderate income families might qualify for help at the clinics.

Bexar County

The San Antonio Bar Association provides the Community Justice Legal Clinic each month to help low-income families and individuals. You could get legal aid in Texas for housing issues. Whether you are a renter or a homeowner, help might be available through the Dallas legal help for housing program. Denton County

Gaines County

Do you have a family law case in Gaines County? You might be able to get legal aid in Texas through the Seminole Family Law Clinic. This clinic can teach you more about your rights in family law and might even be able to point you in the right direction of resources if you’re going through a no-contest divorce.

Grayson County

Legal aid in Grayson County might be able to help you with law clinics. At these clinics, you can get legal aid in Texas through volunteer attorneys. They provide advice and answer common questions about different civil legal matters.

Harris County

Houston Catholic Charities provides immigration clinics that might help you better understand immigration law. You can use the clinics as a safe space to learn more about immigration law in Houston and other areas of Texas. The legal clinic can help you learn about your rights.

The Harris County Volunteer clinics might be able to help you with civil legal cases. You will need to meet requirements to visit one of the clinics and might need to register in advance depending on the popularity of the clinic.

Hidalgo County

Hidalgo County offers a divorce clinic that might be able to help if you’re low-income and you’re facing a divorce. The clinic can provide you with the information and resources you need for a non-contested divorce. If you’re in a contested divorce, you might also be able to get resources from the clinic.

Hood County

You could get legal aid in Texas if you’re in Hood County. The Granbury Family Law Clinic can help with things like custody, divorce and other family law issues. You will need to qualify for the clinic and reserve a spot in the clinic. Attorneys who volunteer for this clinic can help you with advice for your case and answers to some of the most common questions in family law.

Jefferson County

The Jefferson County Bar Association hosts a free clinic for low-income people in the county. The clinic can help you with civil issues and might make it easier for you to find the help you need even if you’re unable to afford an attorney. The clinic can help with civil matters like tenant laws, divorce and other issues.

Nueces County

If you’re in Nueces County, you might be able to get legal aid in Texas. The divorce clinic in the county can help you learn more about divorce, your rights and what you can do to help yourself during the process. At the divorce clinic, you can learn more about the county’s procedures for divorces. You can also get answers to some of the most common questions from divorce attorneys.

Potter County

The Wesley Community Center clinic might be able to help you if you need legal aid in Texas. Volunteer lawyers come to the clinic and answer questions about civil legal matters.

Tarrant County

Since Texas is so big and made up of so many different regions, it might be difficult to find the bar association that works best for your area or county. The state bar association has a convenient directory. Using this, you can find more information on legal aid in Texas. You can also find lawyers who offer pro bono services and legal clinics in your area. There are other options available on the state bar website that might connect you with some resources for your legal issues, but they do not provide direct help to residents of Texas.

Read this before contacting the ACLU about your case!

It is rare for the ACLU to take cases, but they sometimes do this for extreme cases. If your case is extreme or if it infringes on your civil rights, you might be able to get help through the ACLU even though it’s not common. To offset this, the ACLU might be able to provide you with some resources that could help with legal aid in Texas. These resources are easy to find through the ACLU and include volunteer lawyers and organizations that might provide legal assistance.
