The program is through New Hampshire’s legal aid department.
The Neighborworks program provides homebuyer education to people who are homeowners or potential homeowners. Neighborworks might also be able to help if you’re a homeowner facing foreclosure and in need of help to avoid it in the future. There are program guidelines you’ll have to meet if you want to qualify for help from Neighborworks.

Counties in New Hampshire might be able to provide help for home repairs. We found programs that offer grants and loans that could make your home repair projects easier.
If you need New Hampshire home repair and you’re in Keene, you might be able to get it through the community development division. They offer homes that are ready for rehab for people who are purchasing a home for the first time but they also offer the Community Development Block Grant for homeowners who need to update their homes, but who don’t have the money to do so. If you’re in Manchester, you might be able to help with New Hampshire home repair. The city offers the CDBG for low-income residents who qualify. The Concord Housing and Redevelopment Authority might be able to help you with home updates. You will need to meet income and residency requirements to qualify for help through Concord’s program. They also a low-interest loan and a deferred loan that you can use to update your home so you can make it safer and more secure.
Derry offers New Hampshire home repair and shelter assistance to people who are in need of emergency home repairs. If your home is in need of serious repair or if it is unlivable, you might be able to get help through Derry. The city also offers assistance to people who want to improve their home.
