Can I use WIC on Walmart Pickup?

As of January 28th 2022, unfortunately the answer is no. You cannot currently use WIC to pay for Walmart Pickup. Walmart accepts WIC payment at all stores across the nation through their regular checkout lines, but an online shopping option is not available.

However, you may be able to use WIC to pay for Walmart Pickup sometime in the future. This announcement from Walmart states that Walmart plans to launch a 2022 pilot program in Washington and Massachusetts. This means that sometime in the year 2022, people in Washington and Massachusetts will be part of an experimental trial where Walmart tests out allowing customers to pay for WIC eligible items online.

If this pilot goes well, Walmart hopes to expand this program to more states and allow more people across the nation to use WIC on Walmart Pickup.
