FREE School Supplies in White Bear Lake, MN!
Neighborhood House provides help with school supplies in the fall. If you need help, signup begins in the summer! You may be asked to contribute two hours of community service in exchange for the free supplies you receive.
Salvation Army Twin Cities Social Services provides school supplies, clothing, food, gas vouchers, bus tokens, heating assistance, household items and more to families in need. Winter coats may also be distributed seasonally. Financial assistance with rent, deposits, diapers, uniforms, car repairs, prescriptions and more may also be available.
Twin Cities Kids in Need Resource Center provides school supplies to teachers and students who need them! Through the Caring Tree program, local social service agency partners can distribute backpacks and free school supplies to students in need. Eligible teachers can shop for the supplies they need in the free store. Contact the Twin Cities Resource Center to find out what agencies may be able to assist you.
FREE School Clothes in White Bear Lake, MN!
Bethesda Baptist Church provides free clothing in sizes ranging from infants to adults.
Community Resource Center of St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church provides clothing to White Bear Lake Area School District residents. Just walk in during open hours to receive free clothing!
FOCUS Minnesota provides free clothing, shoes, linens, bedding, household goods and personal toiletries. Families can take 30 items per visit per household. You can visit four times consecutively for free. After that, you can only visit once per month.
Free Store provides free seasonal clothing and household items. No furniture is available. You will need a referral slip from Salvation Army, Neighborhood House, a school counselor or other agency in order to receive service.
Joseph’s Coat Free Store provides free clothing, personal care items and household items to anyone in need.
Lovepower Church provides free meals, free food items and clothing to those in need. You can receive one bag of groceries per person and clean, gently used clothing per person.
Marie Sandvik Center provides clothing, toys, quilts and other items on different days. Children’s clothing and toys are distributed on Thursdays at 1pm.
Neighbor’s Inc. provides low cost clothing, shoes, prom dresses and winter clothing. Those unable to pay can obtain vouchers to receive free items.
Operation Glass Slipper provides full prom wear and accessories to low income junior and senior high school girls. Girls select their dress and accessories in an annual March event. The girls are accompanied by “Fairy Godmother” volunteers who help them shop. They try on dresses and minor alterations can be made.
Project Prom provides free Prom dresses to teenage girls in Minnesota. If you need a free Prom dress, you’ll need to call or apply online at least three days before you need your dress!
Sharing and Caring Hands provides free clothing, household goods, bedding, towels, toys and more. They also donate cars to those staying at Mary’s Place Shelter! Anyone in need can be served by Sharing and Caring Hands.
