If you have a history with the company and you meet certain other requirements, you might be able to average out the amount you pay month-to-month. This can be especially helpful in the winter and summer when your bills increase due to using the air conditioner or the heating unit. Your bills will always be the same based on your average usage. At the end of the period, the company will readjust and determine the amount you’ll need to pay the following year. They will also determine any “settling up” you need to do if you went over the average.
