The Emergency Rent, Hotel, and Mortgage Assistance Program is offered by Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government. This program offers assistance with rent payment to eligible low income families.

Vermillion Parish

Christian Service Center of Abbeville

The Christian Service Center of Abbeville is run by St. Mary Magdalen Church and offers rent and utility assistance for families in a financial crisis. You must be a resident of Vermillion parish in order to be eligible.

My mother died in October and my father has aphasia so I moved to take care of him . My wife is disabled and I have a 13 year old son . My father is 88 veteran and my mother fell behind on all of the bills. After paying for her funeral and moving I am broke and I can't work my dad requires all day care and my parents house is in forcloser and the lights are going to be off by end of the week and I need help I don't know what to do.
