New Mexico home repair grants could help you.

You might be able to get New Mexico home repair grants through the USDA. The department provides up to $7,500 in grants for people who qualify. If you live in a rural area and you meet other requirements, you can use the grant to pay for necessary home repairs.

New Mexico tax relief is available for property owners!

If you’re the head of your family, you might be able to qualify for a property tax exemption. This exemption could help lower your property taxes and might make it easier for you to pay the taxes you do owe. You can be a single person, a married person or even a widow. You can qualify for this exemption in addition to other programs through New Mexico. This exemption is similar to the Homestead exemption other states offer. The cap for this exemption is $2,000.

Disabled veterans might be able to get an even larger exemption on their property taxes.

The program has very strict guidelines you’ll have to meet if you want to be able to get the exemption. It could help you with the full amount you owe in property taxes.

If you’re in New Mexico and you need home repair grants, you might be able to get them through your county! The three major cities in New Mexico offer programs that could help you upgrade your home and make it safer to live in!  

Albuquerque

Get New Mexico home repair grants if you’re in Albuquerque. You might be able to get help using the community development block grant. The CDBG could provide the funds you need to fix problems with your home. You can also use this to make updates to your home so it is more modern or more comfortable to live in. The Workforce Housing Trust Fund might also help you with your home repairs. You can use that program in addition to funding from the HOME investment program. With HOME, you could get help with a grant that could help you pay for some repairs to your home!

Las Cruces

The Home Rehabilitation program in Las Cruses might be able to help you with New Mexico home repair grants. The program might be able to help you qualify for funding you can use to update your home. Las Cruces also offers the CDBG program for people who qualify. If you’re in a mobile home and you need a ramp due to a disability, you might be able to have one installed for free!

Santa Fe

Residents of Santa Fe could get help with New Mexico home repair grants! The city offers the CDBG program for people who qualify. You might also be able to find help through the HOME investment partnership to update your home. Santa Fe’s housing trust fund could help you with assistance to make repairs or updates to your home. Additionally, you can get foreclosure relief options in Santa Fe!

The house I live in needs a lot of work I needs insulation Windows I t is so cold I live on disability and my electric bill is over three hundred a month I have no heat but electric heaters I don't use gas cause it had fleck the gas comp ref tagged it I am behind on bills the taxes I put in appictiov to habits for humanity for roof I owe them I could.use some helpthank Estella Gallegos

My mother is 53 and hr fiance 68 he's retired and can barely move around their roof under double wide trailer is about to collapse in already leaking in one bathroom and one living room they're barely making it as it is can they get help for free roof repair and a ramp ramp built do we call do they qualify
