Local Delaware EBT Discounts
You will need to show your EBT card to get the discounted rate but you can’t pay for admission with your card. You’ll need a different form of payment to pay for your ticket.
Biggs Museum of American Art – FREE
The Biggs Museum features a collection of American fine and decorative art. They have a permanent collection with paintings, sculptures, illustrations, images and even furniture. They also have an impressive collection of regional silver. There are rotating exhibits as well, so there’s always something new to experience!
Delaware History Museum – $2 per person
Visit the Delaware History Museum for just $2 per person when you visit with your EBT card. The museum includes the Jane and Littleton Mitchell Center for African American Heritage as well.
Delaware Museum of Nature & Science – $2 per person
The Delaware Museum of Nature & Science offers EBT discounts through their partnerships with both Museums for All and Art-Reach ACCESS. The price for both programs is $2 per person, limit four people per EBT card.
Hagley Museum & Library – $2 per person
The Hagley Museum and Library showcases hundreds of years of history in their large, indoor space. They have new exhibitions and rotating ones. You can take a self-guided tour of the building and the grounds of the gunpowder factory, the first du Pont family home and gardens. It’s a lovely sight!
Historic Odessa – $3 per person or less
Historic Odessa is a beautifully restored colonial town in the heart of Delaware. Step into history with original household furnishings, incredible art collections and more. As a Museums for All member, they charge $3 or less per person with EBT card.
Mt. Cuba Center – $2 per person
The Mt. Cuba Center has beautiful gardens, exhibitions and programs. With a Delaware EBT card, you can visit for just $2 per person! All you have to do is show your food stamps card at the ticketing counter.
Nemours Estate – $3 or less per person
Explore this exquisite 77-room mansion and over 200 acres of French-inspired gardens at a discount! This destination is a Museums for All member but does not advertise their rate.
Read House & Gardens – $2 per person
The Read House & Gardens participates in both Art Reach ACCESS Delaware and Museums for All. This museum is housed inside the 14,000 square foot mansion built for George Read II and his family. The roof offers incredible views that span from the Delaware Memorial Bridge to Salem County, New Jersey!
Winterthur Museum, Garden & Library – $2 per person
There is so much to do at Winterthur! There are 60 acres of carefully-designed gardens, over 1,000 acres of meadows and woodlands, 25 miles of trails, an award-winning children’s garden called The Enchanted Woods, and more! There is also an extraordinary museum with decorative arts housed inside Henry Francis du Pont’s historic home.
