Hi Lamar. We’ll look into it. In the meantime, it may be worth calling 211 to see if there is anything they know of.

      1. black warrior electric for Choctaw and Washington County Alabama please. My mother is on a fixed income and has trouble paying sometimes.

      2. Hi Nicole, I really enjoy your video’s. I watch them often. Thank you so very much for all the work you put in to helping people like me find much needed help. I recently moved to Arab Alabama. Would you please check to see if any of the utilities companies offer help for people like me who are disabled and on low income (SSDI). I live alone, and I recently received my first bills and they were for half a month. I could not believe that my water bill (including sewer, garbage pick up and sanitation) was approximately $50 for two weeks. I do not do laundry at home and use very little water. I’m super conservative as well. The cost of only the water was like $15. for 13 days, which probably isn’t too bad, but it’s all those other charges that added up. And again, that’s only for a couple weeks use. I dread seeing my next bill which will be for a full month. My electric bill was higher than I felt it should be since I have been extremely conservative, by dressing in layers and wearing a jacket inside to keep from using the heat. When I first applied for my utilities I did ask if they gave a senior discount, but neither of them did. I’d really appreciate your looking into whether or not there are any other programs and discounts they may offer. Thanks Nicole

Hi Corrie. We’ll look into it, but it may be worth contacting them directly to see if they offer a medical equipment discount.
