Save money on your PA power bill!

Save money on your PA power bill!

Stop spending so much on your Pennsylvania power bill! The electric bill can be a budget-buster when you’re surviving on a low income. Fortunately, your power company can usually help. There are several unknown or little-advertised programs that power companies may offer that can help lower the cost of your power bill.

Most power companies offer a budget billing plan, which averages the annual cost of electricity in a home and bills the customer in 12 even installments. This can help low-income customers maintain a budget and avert payment problems, especially during the more expensive winter months.

Some Pennsylvania power companies even offer FREE energy-efficiency products to their customers! If you’re low income, you could even save hundreds of dollars per year on your bill with programs like LIHEAP.

Hello Nicole, I'm a big fan of all the knowledge you provide . I was ready this article and came across a comment section. I live in Luzerne County in Pennsylvania. I'm desperately needing help with HOUSING ! AUGUST 15TH I WILL BE HOMELESS. I have reached out to 211.org, contacted my Senator. Contacted HUD. I keep being told that I can't get help because I'm a single person. My kids are grown up. I've tried to find out about grants so I can start my life over. I have been searching since January and unfortunately found nothing. Please if you would reach out to me , I would gratefully appreciate it. Thank you
