If you live in California and love free stuff, you’re going to love these secret free admission perks from the public library system. That’s right! You can get dozens of free and discounted tickets to local museums and cultural venues.
The Discover & Go program partners with 90 cultural attractions, including museums, science centers, theaters, and other community venues. The program was launched in 2011 by the Contra Costa County Library as a way to encourage people to go outside and explore their communities.
In order to reserve tickets, you’ll need to visit the Discover and Go website and login with your library card credentials. If you don’t have a library card, I encourage you to get one today!
