We need writers with strong research skills who are willing to assemble detailed resource directories for our readers. These articles often require hours of research. You may spend a long time browsing through resource directories. If you love research and have a passion for helping people, this may be a good fit for you!
In order to be an in-depth researcher with Low Income Relief, you need to meet the following requirements:
- Fluent/Native English
- You must have experience conducting thorough online research.
- You must be willing to research each topic in great detail.
- You must have excellent writing skills.
- You must have experience writing articles or reports.
- You must agree to abide by our integrity pledge.
In-depth researchers usually spend 5-10 hours per week researching their posts, depending on the topic and their reading or typing speed.

As Low Income Relief grows, we have a lot of miscellaneous tasks that need to be tackled. If you love to learn new things, you may be perfect for a virtual assistant role! Our virtual assistants help with light research, gathering memes, making Canva graphics, answering emails and so much more.
Our virtual assistants need:
- Familiarity with a variety of online tools (including Canva, social media, etc)
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Willingness to learn new things
- Ability to follow instructions
- Attention to detail
Virtual assistants typically spend 15-20 hours per week on Low Income Relief tasks.
What is like to work for Low Income Relief?
Low Income Relief’s team is completely virtual. That means you can work from wherever you are! However, due to the nature of the work that we do, we prefer to work with US-based people who speak and write in native English.
All of our positions pay an hourly rate that varies depending on the tasks and amount of hours that you are working. All of our positions pay at least $20 per hour (more complex tasks obviously pay more). We use a time-tracking software to simplify our payroll and issue payments weekly via PayPal.
The work will be done on your own schedule and at your own convenience. You will be responsible for maintaining your own computer, internet connection, etc.
