The Biomes Marine Biology Center was the first privately-owned marine education center established in New England. The Center lets you explore hands-on marine biology programs covering local sea life. With your Clark Memorial Library card, you are entitled to $2 off tickets as well as free admission for children 2 and under.
The Mystic Aquarium is one of New England’s most popular attractions. This Rhode Island aquarium is best known for hosting the largest outdoor beluga whale exhibit in the U.S. You can see the entire list of exhibits on the aquarium website. Your library card gets you two discounted adult tickets as well as two discounted youth tickets. You can get $6 off each adult ticket as well as $4 off each youth ticket with your membership.
The Mystic Seaport is located in Mystic, Connecticut. Also known as The Museum of America and the Sea, the Seaport is home to many historical ships and buildings. In fact, it is the largest maritime museum in the United States. With your library card, you can get 50% off admission.
The Roger Williams Zoo is more than just a collection of exotic animals. The Zoo is best known for sprawling green spaces that are open to the public. The Clark Memorial Library has a unique selection of items that you can borrow for FREE! The library has loaner Nook and Kindle e-Readers that can be checked out by library members. What’s great about these devices is that they come pre-loaded with multiple best-selling e-books.
The library also hosts a giant collection of Wilton-style cake pans that can be checked out. You must be a member in good standing to check out a pan, and they must be returned during library business hours. The pans come in a variety of shapes including a baseball glove, a Christmas tree, a dragon, and a dozen other designs.

The Maker-Space at the Clark Memorial Library offers free access to some truly amazing devices. The most popular option is the 3-D printer. Want to make a movie? The Maker-Space has two iPads loaded with stop-motion software that lets you make your own stop motion films. The library even has a green screen you can use for advanced editing.
Want to create something by hand? The Clark Memorial Library has a 3-D pen available for free. With a 3-D pen you can create plastic models and designs by hand!
Interested in learning how to code? You can learn to code on the library’s laptops or Raspberry Pi devices by using MIT’s SCRATCH program. You can set up your own SCRATCH account or just use the library account.
Convert your old VHS tapes to DVD at the Clark Memorial Library!
Another FREE benefit that you Clark Memorial Library card offers is access to digital conversion equipment. Have an old VHS tape that you want digitized? You can use the library equipment to convert that tape to a DVD at the library. Please note, you will need to provide your own discs.
