Operation Christmas Angel provides Christmas presents to activity military, veterans and their families. Interested families should contact their County Veterans Services officer, military family assistance advocate or outreach worker for more information.
The Salvation Army sponsors Christmas programs for children and delivers gifts to nursing and assisted living centers in Sheboygan County. Families can receive toys, blankets, winter clothing and food for the holiday season. In order to qualify, you must present photo identification, a letter of determination from Economic Support, proof of residence, proof of income, and establishment of being household members for each person receiving assistance.
Sheboygan County Law Enforcement Association sponsors its annual “Shop with a Cop” for Christmas. Children in need can enjoy shopping and a pizza party with local law enforcement officers. Contact one of the following referral organizations to participate: Big Brothers/Sisters, St. Vincent de Paul, Salvation Army, Safe Harbor, the Department of Health and Human Services, Rainbow Kids, Sheboygan County Public Health, Catholic Charities, Attic Correctional, Head Start, and Children with Cancer. Selected schools may also refer.

St. Vincent De Paul Society of Sheboygan distributes food, clothing, Christmas gifts and school supplies for families needing assistance. It also runs several local thrift stores where clothing and gifts can be purchased at a steep discount.

The Sheboygan Food Pantry, located at 1946 N. 15th Street in Sheboygan, is open the third full week of each month between 9:00 a.m. and Noon. Senior citizens, the working poor or the unemployed can pick up groceries including perishable items such as fruits. A photo ID is required as well as proof of current address. Bring bags or boxes. St. Mark Lutheran Church Food Pantry is available between 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. on the first and third Fridays of the month. Come to the basement of 1019 N 7th Street in Sheboygan for one box of food per month. Current photo identification and proof of residence is required. Call (920) 458-4343 for more information.
St. Luke United Methodist Church Food Pantry is held on the last Thursday of each month. Families can receive a grocery sack full of canned goods, meat and cereal.
