Center For Children and Families in Monroe encourages low-income families with children aged newborn to 16 years old to apply for their Christmas Program. Families who qualify for their services receive several new, unopened toys for each of their children, which get distributed to the family a few days before Christmas.

Family Promise of Ouachita Parish in West Monroe offers their services to low-income families, veterans, and the homeless during the holiday season.

First West in Monroe participates in several holiday programs with partner agencies to help give children of low-income families something to open on Christmas morning. At this point in time, they offer the Angel Tree program.

Rock 106 in Monroe partners with the Ouachita Parish Fire Department to provide children of low-income families with toys during the holidays. Rock 106 hosts a toy drive to gather toys that get passed onto the fire department for distribution to needy families. Families must register with their local fire department to receive toys.

Salvation Army in Monroe invites low-income families with children aged newborn to 14 years old to apply for their Angel Tree program during the holidays. Families who qualify for this program get paired with community members who buy toys for the children.

Toys For Tots in Monroe spends each holiday collecting toys from community members and organizations for children of impoverished families. Each child registered with the program receives several new, unopened toys and some children receive a new bicycle. To take part, families must register each of their children using the “request toys” link found on their website.

Wellspring in Monroe offers their services to the homeless, those at risk for homelessness, domestic and sexual assault victims, mentally ill, and those in recovery. They offer several programs throughout the year such as shelter services, counseling, referrals, and financial assistance. Additionally, during the holidays they offer free Christmas gifts to clients currently using one of their other programs.

Food Bank of Northeast Louisiana in Monroe serves low-income families by helping over 24,000 families put food on their table every month. They might also be able to help families with Christmas and Thanksgiving food.

Ray of Hope Ministries offers free holiday dinner boxes filled with all the ingredients needed to make a traditional holiday meal. At this point in time, food boxes get distributed to families on a first come, first serve basis.

I have a 12 year old daughter who has a lot of mental physical problems her mine set is that of a 5 year old I also have a grand daughter who is 3 and a grandson who is 11 they mom is my daughter she has had open heart surg she has kidney problems in and out of hospital her kidney are at 18 per she has no money I draw ssi and my husband draws it to buy by the time we pay bills and get a little food there is no money had to sale car please help us for christmas only want to be see a smile on there face I know alot of people need help I pray for everyone and be safe.
