Get Free Christmas Gifts In Orange County, Florida
Adopt A Child For Christmas has provided Christmas gifts to children of low-income families in Orange County for nearly 24 years. Community members who want to help families in need visit area post offices where they find adopt a child angel trees filled with family wish lists. They buy these items, return them to the post office, and the organization delivers them to the families. Families in need must register their child before they can create a list for an Angel Tree, provide proof of residency, declare their income and expenses, have a valid form of identification, and give the birth certificates for each child residing in their home aged newborn to 17 years old.
Catholic Charities Of Central Florida offers the Adopt-A-Family program for families in need throughout Orange County and Central Florida. Families who qualify for the program will create a list of items they want and the list goes to community members who are will to help those families have a brighter Christmas. These families purchase toys, clothing, food, holiday dinners, and gift certificates that families receive before a few days before Christmas.
Harvest Time International lends a hand to low-come families in need every year with the Christmas Bag Of Joy outreach program. This programs receives toy donations from community members and gifts them to children whose parents financial struggles prevents them from being able to buy them.
Salvation Army offers several assistance programs for low-income families in Orange County, Florida. They offer the Angel Tree program where families in need get paired with sponsors who purchase toys from a list provided by the family. They’ll drop off their purchased items and they’re distributed to the families just before Christmas. In addition they offer a food pantry that distributes free bags of groceries to families once every thirty days, holiday dinner boxes filled with ham or turkey and all the traditional holiday toppings, and a soup kitchen that offers hot meals every day. To qualify for their services, applicants must show proof of residency via a utility bill, have a valid form of identification, have a child between aged newborn to 12 years old living in the home permanently, provide a list of income and expenses, and present a birth certificates and social security card for each qualifying child.
Toys For Tots collects donations from community members in the form of donation boxes and annual toy drives every year during the holiday season. These toys get distributed to child from low-income families in Orange County, several days before Christmas. To take part in the program, parents must register their children using the request toys link on their website. In addition, parents must meet the income qualifications, have proof of residency, provide a valid form of identification, have at least one child aged newborn to 16 years old living in their home permanently, and offer a birth certificate and social security card for each qualifying child.

Christian Service Center offers the Love Pantry for all low-income residents of Orange County, Florida who are in need of food or hygiene products. Residents receive several bags of groceries that include 23 of the most common food items and 8 basic hygiene items once every thirty days.
Loaves and Fishes offers food, cleaning supplies, toiletries, household items, baby items, and free bags of groceries to low-income residents from Orange County, Florida. Visitors can receive their items from the pantry Monday through Thursday between 9am and 10am once every thirty days.
