There are legal aid services available throughout PA but many regions also have their own legal aid in PA. These services might make it easier if you have a county-specific case. In fact, some cases like custody, might require you to get legal aid from your county.

Mid Central Pennsylvania

Midpenn Legal Services provides legal aid in PA to people who are in the central and south central regions of the state. If you’re in Dauphin County, Franklin County, Cumberland County or any of the surrounding central PA counties, you might be able to get help through these legal services. You will need to meet their income qualifications. There might be other requirements you’ll need to meet. In addition, attorneys might not be able to help with some cases.

North Pennsylvania

Are you in Northern PA? You might b e able to get help through North Penn Legal Services. If you’re in one of the North Eastern or North Central areas of the state, you might be able to get legal aid in PA through this organization. The program provides pro bono attorneys to people who meet their requirements. You will need to be below a certain income level and must have a case that meets their guidelines.

Northwestern Pennsylvania

Residents of the Northwestern part of the state might be able to get help through Northwestern Legal Services. The program provides legal aid in PA to people who are low-income and have a qualifying legal case. If you meet the program requirements, you might be able to get an attorney who provides pro bono services to get through your legal case.

Philadelphia Area

Philadelphia Legal Assistance might be able to help if you’re in need of an attorney for your civil case. You could get help if you meet income requirements. The program offers a variety of pro bono services through their attorneys. In addition to the traditional legal services they offer, you might also be able to get help with basic terms and information about your legal case.

If you’re in Philadelphia, you might be able to get legal aid in PA through Philadelphia Community Legal Services. The program helps people who are low-income and have qualifying civil cases.

With the Philadelphia VIP pro bono legal services, you could get an attorney that might be able to represent you without charging any fees. You will need to meet the program requirements to get help through this program. If you’re low-income, this could help you get the attorney you need.

Pittsburgh Area

The Pittsburgh Neighborhood Legal Services might be able to help with legal aid in PA. The program has pro bono attorneys who might be able to help with a variety of civil legal cases. They could provide you with an attorney in addition to resources to help with your case. The program serves most areas of greater Pittsburgh.

Southeastern Pennsylvania

If you’re in Southeastern PA, you might be able to get help with your civil legal issue. Legal Aid of Southeastern PA could provide you with an attorney who handles civil cases. The program has income requirements you’ll need to meet and might not be able to provide help for every civil legal situation.

Southwestern Pennsylvania

Southwestern PA Legal Aid provides low-income residents with assistance for their legal cases. You could get help by using a pro bono attorney. The program works with people who have civil cases only. They might not be able to help with every case and their ability is based on a variety of factors.

Western Pennsylvania

Laurel Legal Services might be able to help people in the Western part of the state with legal services. You could get help with your civil legal case through pro bono attorneys. Even if Laurel Legal services is unable to provide you with a pro bono attorney, they might still be able to provide legal aid in PA. The program could assist you with resources, forms and answers to basic questions.

The PA bar association might provide even more help.

The State Bar Association might be able to provide you with assistance in finding an attorney. While they do not have any programs available that provide direct legal aid in PA, you could find an attorney through their directory. The directory has a listing of all the agencies in PA where you might be able to get pro bono representation.

The first place many people go when they feel their rights have been violated is the ACLU. While the ACLU does help with some cases, they are not able to help with every single case that comes to them. If your rights have been violated, you might still be able to find help through the ACLU, though.
