The LIHEAP benefit from Kentucky could help you pay your electric bill. While you must qualify for the program by being a low-income individual or family, you can get assistance on your bills. The assistance can drastically reduce the amount you pay each month.
Since Clark Energy is a co-op, you are entitled to ownership credits. If you have not received your ownership credits, they may be waiting for you. If you need help paying your bill, check to see if you have any ownership credits available since they could be applied directly to your bill.

Clark Energy looks at each payment extension need on a case-by-case basis. If you need an extension, you’ll need to contact Clark Energy. You can apply for one directly through your online account, but since they do not have an official policy, it may be easier to call into the company or visit the location directly.
To help lower your bill while also help reduce the load on the energy source during peak hours, you can sign up for the peak use program. The program will automatically qualify you for a set amount on your bill. It will also help you save money by lowering the rate you pay during non-peak hours.

With the Kentucky Weatherization Assistance Program, you may be able to get help upgrading your home. In cases where you’re approved, the program will pay for upgrades like added insulation and change in flooring to make your home more energy efficient. In some cases, you may even qualify for a new heating and cooling system depending on the one you currently have.
Clark Energy offers a free audit program you can use. You can do the audit online in only a few simple steps. You can get an accurate picture of your bill when you use the audit program. Seeing where you use the most energy will help you reduce the amount you use in different areas to save more money on your bill.
More than electric: Clark Energy serves the community.
Clark Energy is a Touchstone Co-Op company. Since you’re a member of this co-op, you’ll get free savings on many different things around the area. Clark Energy provides a free Touchstone co-op card. You can save money on prescriptions, entetainment and even groceries.
Each year, Touchstone companies send high schoolers on a tour of Washington, D.C. If you have a high schooler who is interested in energy and who shows a desire to learn more, they could win the trip to D.C. to learn about energy and politics.
The Citizen Solar Award goes to Clark Energy customers who show a dedication to solar power. The award may help fund additional solar-related expenses and could even pay to help you learn more about solar energy through college courses.
Clark Energy helps kids learn more about energy through their online program. More importantly, they help your kids learn about energy conservation and safety! The games are fun and have excellent lessons to teach for free!
