Mason County PUD 3 customers can save money on their monthly bills! Certain low income customers may be eligible for discounts. In addition, many of these programs are available to everyone without income limitation.

Mason County PUD 3 urges customers who are struggling with their bills to call the PUD as soon as possible for arrangements.
Budget billing allows customers to have a consistent energy bill every month of the year. Any customer can apply for this program, regardless of income. Budget Billing payments are recalculated in June.
Mason County PUD 3 offers discounts to certain customers.
Seniors (age 61+) with a household adjusted gross income of less than $40,000 per year may be eligible to have their daily system charge removed from their bill. Click here for the application.
Mason County PUD 3 also offers discounts for low income disabled customers. Eligible customers can have the daily system charge removed from their monthly bills. It is important to realize that the account must be in the disabled person’s name to qualify.
When you improve your energy efficiency, you can lower your monthly bill!
Customers can get a free home energy audit. These audits can help you identify ways that you can improve your home’s weatherization and save money on your monthly bill. Schedule an appointment by calling (360) 426-0777.
In addition, Mason County PUD 3 distributes free high-efficiency showerheads, which can save up to 3 gallons of water per minute, at all PUD 3 locations. Because these showerheads save water, they also save the electricity used to heat the water.
All qualifying residential insulation and duct-sealing projects can be completely paid for by the PUD. Low and moderate income customers can contact the PUD at (360) 426-0777 to arrange for a conservation technician to conduct a pre-insulation inspection. A pre-insulation inspection must be conducted in order to qualify for the rebate.

The Community Action Council also offers two programs that can assist Mason County PUD customers. These include:
Project Share, managed by Community Action Council (CAC), offers $100 account payments for eligible customers. Last year, the CAC served more than 650 low-income families.
A weatherization program is also available through the Community Action Council that provides free weatherization services to eligible customers. Call (360) 438-1100 ext 2100 for more information and a pre-qualification screening.
